Specially skilled in:
- cultivating a positive study attitude among the students, and establishing a fruitful collaboration with them, not through the use of teacher’s “authority”, but by relating to the students in a way that makes them feel understood, respected and safe to fail,
- promoting learning not by conveying information and facts to passive “recipients of knowledge” through one-way communication, but (inspired by Socrates’ dialectical method) through constant dialog and by posing the proper questions that make the students discover the answers themselves,
- producing education material where I extract the essence of the necessary theoretical knowledge and organise it graphically in a way that clearly showcases the connections between the theoretical concepts, which makes theory much easier for the students to grasp, and later on, to recall,
- supporting students with learning difficulties or lack of confidence or motivation more effectively, taking advantage of my vast experience, but also by regularly receiving supervision from psychologists and special education professionals,
- ensuring a more comprehensive and in depth understanding of the syllabus by exploiting both the theoretical and the practical approach to the subject.

I have been educating students in Mathematics and Physics for about 40 years, in two countries (Greece and Denmark), in three languages (greek, english and danish) and on a broad spectrum of educational levels and settings, including:

My educational praxis is based on the following set of values:
- to encourage and train the students in wondering, trying out, questioning and developing critical thinking, rather than just memorising and reproducing,
- to acknowledge and accommodate the different academic levels, learning styles and personal situations of students,
- to deliver a lesson that is animated and connected to everyday life.
With targeted questions of graded difficulty, I assess the student's academic level and learning style so that I can have the appropriate starting point in my communication with the student.
